A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Ayrshire and Arran.
We are expecting a spell of very wet and windy weather during Tuesday and into Wednesday. Heavy and persistent rain is likely to lead to some disruption due to flooding in some areas. River levels and watercourses are expected to rise to similar levels as those seen over the weekend.
The situation is set to improve later on Wednesday and Thursday
