The award celebrates the organisation’s continued commitment to bringing people together through sport, education, and wellbeing initiatives. From grassroots football sessions and school programmes to health walks, employability projects and dementia-friendly activities, the Killie Community has become a cornerstone of support and inclusion for people of all ages across Ayrshire.

A spokesperson said they were “honoured” to receive the title, adding: “We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together with thousands of participants, and even more inspired to continue making a difference in our community in the year ahead.

Thank you to all participants, partners, funders and volunteers for believing in our mission and standing beside us every step of the way.”

The recognition highlights the charity’s vital work in using the power of football to transform lives, creating opportunities, building confidence, and strengthening the Ayrshire community.
