Pavilion Festival has announced its biggest seaside weekender yet for 2026, with global DJ heavyweights Carl Cox, MK (Mark Kinchen), and local favourite Ewan McVicar set to headline.

Following a sell-out event earlier this year, the Ayr Beach festival returns for its fourth year across the May Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2026.
Saturday will see “Ewan McVicar & Pals” take centre stage, with McVicar curating a stacked lineup and delivering the Scottish debut of his brand-new full production show. He’ll be joined by Detroit house legend MK, who will headline the day’s main stage.

On Sunday, STREETrave takes over with one of the biggest names in electronic music. Dance music pioneer Carl Cox returns to Ayr Beach after first playing STREETrave in the early 1990s, promising world-class selectors, heavy-hitting stage production, and immersive lighting.

Festival-goers can also expect the return of the 5,000-capacity weatherproof ‘Electric Brae’ Big Top tent, alongside new stages, upgraded sound, and expanded visual production. Organisers say they are “doubling down on spectacle, sound, and scale” while exploring more on-site additions for 2026.
Founded in 2023 by Ewan McVicar and the legendary STREETrave team, Pavilion Festival has quickly established itself as one of Scotland’s most exciting music events.
Ewan McVicar, co-founder of Pavilion Festival, said:
“Pavilion is about bringing something world-class to Scotland, right here on our doorstep, right here by the beach. 2026 is shaping up to be some show with MK headlining Saturday and Carl Cox on Sunday. This is just the beginning, though… we’ve got a massive second wave of artists coming.”
Tickets go on presale from 10am Friday 3rd October, with general release on Saturday 4th October via Skiddle. Early bird full weekend passes are priced at £90, with day tickets starting at £50. Payment plans are also available.
More details, including the next wave of artists, will be announced in the coming months.
