Man arrested following serious assault in Saltcoats

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault in Saltcoats.

Between 1pm and 2pm on Saturday, 7 March, a 33-year-old man was seriously assaulted on Old Raise Road.

The 33-year-old man was due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, 19 March, 2026.

A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
