The Opps4All Activity Group has risen to the Christmas Challenge again this year, delivering selection boxes and small presents to schools and vulnerable children across East Ayrshire.

Last year the group collected over 1000 selection boxes and 400 presents from schools, local businesses and organisations, which they then gave to 18 schools, three children’s houses and the Children and Families service.

The Activity Group aims to enable all young people to access and progress in learning and to equip them with the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes they need to move on to employment.

Marie Macklin, Executive Chair of HALO Kilmarnock, joined the group this week to donate selection boxes to children at Park School.
