Police appealing for information after a large scale disturbance in Eglington county park

APPEAL FOR INFORMATION – KILWINNING
Detectives are appealing for information after a 19 year-old was seriously injured following a large scale disturbance in Eglinton Country Park on Wednesday 15th May 2019.
Around 8.20pm on Wednesday evening, police were called to a report of a man seriously assaulted following a large-scale disturbance involving around 90 youths near to Eglinton Castle within Eglinton Country Park.
The injured 19 year-old man was taken by ambulance to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock where he was treated for stab wounds then later released.
