Poundland on Ayr High Street wont be opening its doors again after lockdown the chain has announced.
The lease is set to expire on the high street store, and Poundland won't be after lockdown the company has confirmed.
Poundland confirmed to Ayrshire Daily News through the following statement however the store in the the Ayr central shopping centre will remain open.
Statement below
"While we’re sad to be closing our High Street, Ayr, store on Saturday 3 April, we’ll still be offering customers amazing value nearby in Ayr Central Shopping Centre. Unfortunately, the lease is expiring on the High Street store. It goes without saying, when we close a store, we always work hard to look after colleagues directly affected."
