SNOW BOMB: Over 12 hours of Snow could fall across some parts of Ayrshire between Monday and Tuesday

Heavy and persistent snow fall looks set to quickly follow on the heels of Storm Ciara.

Persistent Snow looks set to hit most parts of Ayrshire next week between Monday and Tuesday with the Met-Office already issued an early Yellow warning however some places especially on higher ground and away from the immediate coastline could see numerous spells of snow over a 24 hour period.

Areas at highest risk from persistent snow fall are Arran, Cumnock, Kilmarnock and the Fenwick Moors Moors especially during Monday evening and Tuesday.
