Troon Concert Hall was buzzing on Sunday 13th September with 85 ladies, sweating hundreds of calories for this years Butterfly Zumbathon organised by Butterfly Events committee Member Caroline Jamieson
This is the 4th year of this event and our supporters did not disappoint says Caroline.
We would like to thank Fiona Young our main instructor on the day for her dedication & continued support to our cause. We must also thank other instructors on the day Jacqueline Miller, Kirsty Anderson, Gilly Ferguson and Vicki Watt who all whipped us into shape.
Our thanks must also go to Hugh Blane & Son Joiners/Builders for their sponsorship of our water & wee pick me up!
However most of all, thanks to our fabulous supporters who gave their all for the enduring 2 hours, we raised £3000, which will be fully donated to cancer research uk.
Lorna Dempsey chair said, thank you so much to Caroline for organising this event, we just love it and it is what our committee is all about putting the FUN in fundraising. this £3000 will be added to the £300,000 our supporters have raised for Cruk since 2007.
Butterfly Events are a local voluntary committee working on behalf of CRUK, we organise fun exciting affordable events for everyday people whilst raising cancer awareness and much needed funds for this fantastic charity.
