Troon Gym reopens after £225,000 transformation

The gymnasium at Troon Swimming Pool has just been transformed into a modern state-of-the-art facility by South Ayrshire Council. The gym, which has been extended, now boasts 'Life Fitness' equipment to boost cardio-vascular training and resistance machines to help build strength and stamina.

Much of the equipment is now Wi-Fi enabled, allowing customers to watch TV, listen to music, or even download workout data direct to apps on smartphones – this means customers can more easily record their exercise regimes for optimum performance.
