Two men, aged 20 and 57, have been arrested after drugs and a firearm were recovered during a police search at an address in Kilwinning on Wednesday 12 November 2025.

Officers from the Local Policing Team and Priority Policing Team in Irvine carried out the search at a house on Innerwood Road, where controlled drugs believed to be crack cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £3250 were seized.

The men were released on an Undertaking to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Will Thomson, Locality Policing Team, Irvine, said, “We will continue to carry out intelligence-led policing to disrupt the supply of drugs and arrest those involved in this type of crime.

“It is essential that the public to keep providing us with information about drugs supply and so would encourage anyone with concerns to speak to police via 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
