Updated List of all the Bus services Running & Not Running Tomorrow Across Ayrshire Due to Industrial Action

Unite the Union has confirmed plans to take industrial action on Monday 26th May, Monday 2nd June and Friday 6th June 2025. As a result, there will be disruptions to our bus services on these days.

Stagecoach issued the following advice:

Industrial action will take place over driver pay for our employees based at depots in Ayr, Ardrossan, Arran, and Kilmarnock.

Regrettably, the industrial action will disrupt our services and inconvenience our customers. As we play a crucial role in helping people stay connected with their communities, we plan to operate a limited service with the drivers available to us.

We’re working hard to minimise the impact of this disruption, but unfortunately, the limited services we’re running will affect customers travelling in and around Ayrshire.

Travelling in Ayrshire on Monday 26th May? Here's what you need to know On Monday 26th May services in Ayrshire will be operated by drivers from other Stagecoach depots.  They're here to help keep you moving - and we'd appreciate your help too. Please buy your ticket in advance via the Stagecoach Bus App if you can. If you need to buy on board, drivers will be offering DayRider and Single tickets only to help keep our buses moving and get you to where you need to be.

All of our other tickets will be available to buy on the app, so please buy before you board wherever possible.Concession card holders - present your card and let the driver know your destination as usual.

Bought a ticket and no longer travelling? No problem, if you don't activate your ticket, it stays valid as per your ticketing terms and conditions. Need the Stagecoach App? Getting started is easy: 

1. Download it from your app store

2. Create an account or sign in with your Apple, Google or Facebook accounts

3. We accept apple and google pay, credit and debit card and PayPal

4. Plan your journey, select and buy your ticket

5. Activate it before boarding when you're ready to travel

Timetables will be temporarily revised, with a limited frequency across Ayrshire on Monday 26th May, Monday 2nd June and Friday 6th June 2025.  If we’re able to provide additional resources during the days of industrial action, we’ll aim to increase services and frequencies. Customers will be notified of these changes via our X channel @StagecoachWScot and on our website stagecoachbus.com.
