WEATHER: Status Yellow - Low Temperatures

Coastal areas will see temperatures around freezing or just above this evening and tonight as high pressure remains in charge of our weather this weekend, however further inland temperatures will fall to between -3 and -4 with some local areas in the valleys of Ayrshire seeing temperatures down below -5 possibly along with a hard frost under clear skies. Icy stretches may develop in any untreated road surfaces or where roads remain damp from recent rain.
