Woman Arrested in Connection With The Death of a Man in Ayr

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of 42-year-old man, Mark Blackwood, in Ayr.

Around 8.10pm on Saturday, 5 July, 2025, we were called to a report of a man found seriously injured in a flat in Glenmuir Place.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries by police are ongoing.
