Abbey works get started as landmark gets makeover

Demolition underway in Darvel
Work has started this week on the demolition of the old fabric factory on Jamieson Road, Darvel. This is a specialist demolition project, due to asbestos found within the factory site, and it is anticipated that it will take 14 weeks to complete.
