Alongside the grand return of William Hammond Funfairs, Ayr is gearing up to host the exhilarating International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight. The action-packed festivities promise a weekend filled with thrills, both in the air and on the ground.

A Weekend of Wonders

Scheduled from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th September, the Festival of Flight is a three-day extravaganza set against the beautiful South Ayrshire coastline. While the Air Show Funfair offers gravity-defying rides and games, the Festival of Flight will feature iconic aircraft and heart-stopping aerial displays. The sky will come alive especially on Saturday 9th September, the day earmarked for the festival's main aerial attractions.

Your Guide to the Sky

What's on the agenda for this airborne spectacle, you ask? From the world-renowned Red Arrows to the mesmerising Airborne Pyrotechnics, the line-up is nothing short of impressive. With such a stacked line-up, the sky above Ayr is bound to be filled with awe-inspiring manoeuvres and dazzling pyrotechnics.

Not to be outdone, parking on Friday and Sunday comes at a discounted rate of £5. The event programme will detail the finalised flying times for each display team, so it's a must-have for any aviation aficionado.

A Perfect Marriage of Sky and Earth

What makes this year particularly special is the harmonious blend of aerial excitement with ground-level thrills. "It's a dream come true to be a part of such a grand event. The Festival of Flight and our Air Show Funfair together make for an unmatched family weekend," says David Moore, spokesman for William Hammond Funfairs.
