Soft Play centres can finally reopen on Monday 19th July when Mainland Scotland moves down to Level 0 over one year since they where forced to close due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Soft play businesses have been reacting to the good news that ‘Level 0‘ is finally on the way which allows them to re-open, including Pirate Pete’s in Ayr who said the following on Facebook this afternoon:
“We finally have the green light to reopen after being closed for well over a year. We will open on Monday 19th July at 10am-6pm.
“We will NOT be operating a pre-booking system. It will be a first come first serve basis.
“We have taken the decision not to book any parties or group bookings in the very near future.
“However keep an eye on our page and we will update you once we reopen bookings.
“Laser Storm will also remain closed for the time being. All of us can not wait to see everyone again. Roll on Monday.”
Kidz Play in Prestwick also shared their excitement on Facebook this afternoon:
“Well, finally, after 16 months, we can finally reopen on Monday 19th July at 9.30am-6pm”
“We will NOT be operating a pre-booking system, spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, as we operated previously.
“We will be operating at a reduced capacity and ensure other measures are in place, as per government guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.”
“We look forward to seeing you sometime soon”
