BHS is set to close its doors in less than 12 weeks after no buyer was found for the business chain. Shortly after Duff and Philip announced that they would now start to wind down the business, store by store including the two Ayrshire stores in Ayr and Kilmarnock.
BHS has been a long running shop in Ayr high street between M&S and Poundland and even seen the departure of Woolworths in 2009 but now BHS is set to say goodbye to Ayr high street after 20+ years.
The closing down sales have already started at both stores and are expected to close in August.
