BREAKING: EAC STATEMENT REGARDING THE ONGOING FLOODING INCIDENT IN KILMARNOCK

There is a flooding incident currently ongoing in the Shortlees area of Kilmarnock. 

There is also a power cut in the wider area of Kilmarnock South.

Police, SF&R, Scottish Power and council officers are onsite offering support to local residents.

Water pumping equipment is currently being deployed.

A rest centre has been opened at the Shortlees community centre and is available for everyone in the area
