KILMARNOCK MAN ARRESTED - THEFTS - DUNSMUIR PARK, KILMARNOCK
Between Saturday 14th July and Wednesday 25th July 2018. Officers in East Ayrshire received reports of a male acting suspiciously and a number of theft related calls in the area of Dunsmuir Park, Kilmarnock.

After extensive enquiries and with information and support from the local community, officers from East Ayrshire Interventions Team have identified the male responsible and arrested a 31 year old man today (Friday 27th July 2018) for 9 alleged Theft and Attempted Theft related charges. He will remain in police custody to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
Sergeant Iain Farmer from East Ayrshire Interventions Team said:
"Officers are providing extra attention and reassurance patrols in and around the area during the times highlighted by the community. I would like to thank the local community for their continued support.
