Kilmarnock's Centrestage to play a part in '30 Hour Piano Playathon' for Charity

Kilmarnock's Community Theatre, Centrestage, will get involved in a 30 Hour Piano Playathon to raise money for three local charities.

The charities that will benefit from the funds raised are Ayrshire Hospice, Centrestage and the Swanson Family Charity - in memory of Ron & Mary Swanson SCIO.


The charity fundraising event will take place at Tesco Extra, Irvine on Friday 18th October 2019 commencing at 10 am and finishing on Saturday 19th October 2019 at 4 pm.


Featuring many talented pianists playing popular melodies, for 30 consecutive hours, entertaining customers whilst raising funds. Centrestage CEO, Fiona McKenzie will be one of the pianists taking part in the 30-hour challenge, delivered across the two days.


All donations will be gratefully received and will be shared equally between the charities. Please be assured that your donation matters and will help to make a meaningful, sustainable and positive difference to the well-being of individuals, families and entire communities.
