Pathway on Ayr High Street Cordoned Off by Police Due to Unsafe Building

A busy part of Ayr High Street has been sealed off by Police due to an unsafe building.

The Sweety Shop across from Boots, formerly known as the old EE shop, has been cordoned off by police due to falling brick work.

The building is expected to remain cordoned off untiI South Ayrshire Council workers inspect it.

Pedestrians are able to use the footpath at the opposite side of the road.
