Officers are continuing enquiries and re-appealing for the assistance of the public to trace 44 year-old Jim Larmour who is missing from his home in Ardrossan.

James (known as Jim) Larmour left his home in McDowall Avenue, Ardrossan in the early hours of Wednesday 11 October 2017. He was reported missing by his family on Monday 16 October. Jim is described as around 5ft 10 inches in height and of slim build. He is normally clean shaven with close cropped brown hair. When he was last seen he was wearing a black shirt, dark jeans and black shoes. Inspector Brian Skimming from Saltcoats Police Office said: “Despite our extensive searches and enquiries, we have yet to obtain any information on Jim’s wherabouts. This is obviously a very distressing time for his family and friends as it is totally out of character for him to go missing and not keep in contact, and they are extremely concerned for him. “I would appeal again to anyone who has seem Jim, or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact Saltcoats Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 463 of 16th October.”
