This special celebration marked the successful completion of the Hospice’s Capital Build Project and the transformation of the Racecourse Road site.

The Ayrshire Hospice provides exceptional palliative and end-of-life care to people aged 16 and over with life-shortening and limiting illnesses across Ayrshire and Arran. The organisation's holistic approach to care involves the whole family and aspires to have patients lead their care and make their own choices.

The Ayrshire Hospice is also the Council’s Employee Charity Partner for 2025.

Provost Campbell was given a tour of the new development site consisting of thoughtfully designed community spaces including The Gargowan Café, Gargowan Gifts, Living Well Facilities and Contemplation Space.
