South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell recently visited the Council’s Employee Charity Partner, Night Before Christmas Campaign.
Night Before Christmas Campaign was founded on a belief that no one should go without a gift at Christmas and since 2015 the charity has been delivering increasingly more Red Bags Full of Joy. Their reach has extended outside of Ayrshire, with efforts including the collection of backpacks for Glasgow's homeless population.
In addition, the charity operates from Ayr's Baby To Teen store in Arthur Street and provides new school uniforms to families experiencing financial hardship in South Ayrshire, via the South Ayrshire School Clothing Bank.
Provost Campbell had a tour of the “Elves' Headquarters” at Annbank Village Hall to learn more about the charity.
