Stagecoach have axed the X4 service between Ayr and Kilmarnock and now replaced it with a new X16 timetable.
The X16 will now run every 30 minutes with all services serving Ayr college and UWS via Whitletts and onto Kennedy drive in Kilmarnock.
Only one x16 an hour will continue to Hamilton while the other finishes at Kilmarnock.
