Wee DRAM to make a splash at 2025 airshow!

Wee DRAM is set to appear at The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight!

The Reims-Cessna FR172F Amphibian G-DRAM, affectionately known as “Wee DRAM”, will return to the skies – and the water – at Ayr on Saturday 6 September.

Pilot Hamish Mitchell flies this iconic aircraft from Prestwick Airport, providing adventure flying and training across Scotland.

At our airshow, Hamish will deliver an exciting and surprisingly agile display in Wee DRAM and, weather and tide permitting, perform a “Splash and Go”, landing briefly on the water before taking off again.

The International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight comes to Ayr shorefront on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September 2025 with a thrilling line-up of aerial display and family fun in our Festival Village on both days.
