The Ayrshire coast will see some of the best and most famous aircraft display over two days with the world-famous Red Arrows appearing on Sunday 3rd September.
Danny Anderson, Director of the Airshow said:
"The Red Arrows are in demand across the world. Their skill and thrilling aerobatic displays are recognised as some of the very best in the world. We are delighted that they will be coming to the Scottish International Airshow on the Sunday afternoon. In addition, the awesome Typhoon fighter will fly on both Saturday and Sunday.
"Our Airshow is the biggest family event in Scotland and we are delighted that our backers in South Ayrshire Council, Spirit Aerosystems, Launch Digital and UTC Aerosystems have given us the ability bring world class aerobatic teams to Scotland. Our great partners at Glasgow Prestwick Airport will again host these world famous aircraft and their skilled ground staff and Air Traffic Controllers will be vital to the smooth running of this highly complex event.
"The RAF will also be bringing the historic Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane to display right off Ayr beach. In addition we will be announcing many more exciting displays and they will all be listed on the Scottish International Airshow website."
